Payments giant Visa has launched an NFT business development education program.
The initiative is designed for a year and is aimed at artists, musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers.
Visa's head of crypto, Cu Sheffield, said the company hopes to understand the prospects and challenges creators face and explore the role NFTs can play in monetizing their work.
Ultimately, the program will help Visa extend its commercial NFT products.

Visa has not yet decided how many authors it wants to train under this program. However, Sheffield expects the group to be small to build community and support technical mentorship.
Interested authors will be required to fill out a questionnaire and undergo a personal interview.
Visa will also provide authors with a one-time stipend. Its size is not reported.
Recall that in October 2021, Visa, together with artist Micah Johnson, announced plans to create an educational project that will help digital art creators learn about the potential of NFTs.
