Crypto exchange Coinbase announced the launch of the 10 Percent project, which implies the allocation of 10% of free resources to support the modernization program.
The initiative aims to create a “culture of reproducible innovation” and unleash the creativity of the workforce.
The project arranges with Coinbase's philosophy of dedicating 70% of the time to core businesses, 20% to strategic areas, and 10% to disruptive experimentation.

10 Percent will launch with a survey of employees with a proposal to submit improvement proposals. Their main criterion is a tenfold impact on the user experience, metrics, and technical capabilities of Coinbase. The best ideas will be presented at a special event that will be held twice a year.
Recall that on April 14, a direct listing of shares of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase on Nasdaq took place.
Ron Conway, an early investor in Coinbase, called the exchange an industry leader in "a multimillion-dollar innovation opportunity."
