According to Cryptowatch analysts, the average monthly trading volumes of bitcoin have increased 50 times over the past 4 years. In January 2016, this figure was $0.5 billion, and in April 2020 exceeded $27 billion.
The price of bitcoin for this period of time has grown 15 times. Before the last halving, it was at $400, after which it grew above $800 by the end of the year:
