The number of visits to sites of cryptocurrency exchanges in January 2021 reached the highest values in the last few years.
Last month, about 344 million Internet users visited the sites of the trading platforms. That is a new high, the researchers note. For comparison, in December, 196 million users of the World Wide Web visited the sites of crypto-exchanges.
The positive trend was a direct result of the soaring value of Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
Similar surges in the activity of Internet users were observed earlier. However, over the past two months, the number of visits to exchange sites has reached record levels.
