According to the victim, the unknown replaced the SIM card registered with his father and then sold 1.09 bitcoins using the Telegram bot (more than 700 thousand rubles at the rate at the time of writing).

Law enforcement authorities have already begun verification under Art. 144-145 Code of Criminal Procedure.

Recall that in January, 18-year-old hacker Samy Bensaki was charged with four criminal charges of fraud for $50 million in cryptocurrency committed by substituting SIM cards.

In addition, in November last year, scammers were arrested in the United States who deceived Bitcoin businessmen by several hundred thousand dollars using SIM swap.
