The periodic growth of the cryptocurrency market provokes an increase in demand for equipment for the extraction of digital assets.
In September, Bitcoin began to strengthen its position again, which led to a surge in people's interest in mining.
As the VnExpress news agency clarifies, sellers of equipment for crypto mining recorded a doubling in sales of miners in Vietnam. In early August, by contrast, only a few were interested in cryptocurrency mining in the country, as the market had been rolling back since mid-May.

However, increased demand for equipment in late summer led to a jump in prices. Now GPUs from AMD and Nvidia have risen in price to $4,400.
Interest in mining in Vietnam is observed in the absence of crypto regulation in the country. Back in January, Vietnam's Ministry of Finance issued a statement stating that digital currencies were not legal tender in the country.
Such tools were banned in 2018. However, despite the repression from the authorities, Vietnam is on the list of Asian states with the largest number of bitcoin holders.
