With this, AMC becomes BitPay's first client to accept SHIB.Earlier, Aron created a tweeter poll asking users if they want the movie company to take SHIB. The answer of the majority (81%) was positive.
At the moment, Shiba Inu is the 11th largest crypto with a market cap of $27.6 billion. The price of the token is $0.00005044, around 42% down from its all-time high reached on October 28.
Last week, AMC started accepting payments in Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash, adding Dogecoin probably will be next to join this list. Currently, the company allows purchasing digital gift cards paying in DOGE.
