Plaid released a blog post that says now they bring their technology and experience to Web3. Plaid's Wallet Onboard allows developers to connect crypto wallets to decentralized applications. With a single integration, Wallet Onboard allows developers to enable connectivity to over 300 self-custody cryptocurrency wallets.

Plaid mentioned that its goal is to help developers focus on building new web3 product experiences by removing the technical work needed for onboarding and managing wallet connections.

The Plaid team said they are extremely optimistic about the potential of Web3 technology. Recently, the company added support for several crypto exchanges and investment platforms including Binance.US, Robinhood, Gemini and SoFi.
