Securrency blockchain compliance provider raised $30 million in Series B funding round.
The round was attended by WisdomTree Investments, State Street, U.S. Bank, and Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners (subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Sovereign wealth fund and Falcon Edge Capital).
The company will use the funds raised to launch DeFi products for banks and to expand into new markets.
Securrency Strategy Director Patrick Campos, in an interview with CoinDesk, described the product under development as middleware that connects blockchains and legacy systems based on a common regulatory framework.
Securrency has applied for a license to operate at the International Financial Center in Abu Dhabi.
