Robinhood records growth in number of female crypto-traders

More and more women are not only interested in cryptocurrencies, but also try themselves as traders in this market. Even though the cryptosphere is still dominated by men, the number of women investing in bitcoin and other coins has increased markedly in recent years.

Popular online broker Robinhood drew attention to this trend and emphasized that the cryptosphere is becoming a platform for ensuring gender equality. Anyone wishing to invest in digital currency now has this opportunity.

Over the past 12 months, the number of female crypto traders who have registered on the Robinhood platform has grown sevenfold, according to The Block, citing a broker study.

The team notes that in one year, the proportion of women investing in digital assets through the Robinhood service has grown to 40%. Moreover, such statistics refer to those representatives of the beautiful half of humanity who regularly perform operations with cryptocurrencies.

Recall that the Robinhood platform appeared on the market in 2018. Its rapid growth has been observed over the past 12 months. Since the beginning of 2021, more than 65 million new users have registered on the platform.

At the moment, Robinhood clients have access to operations not only with bitcoin and ether but also with Ethereum Classic, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, and Litecoin.

By the end of this year, the cryptoservice developer plans to enter the Nasdaq exchange and attract additional investment.
