Leading NFT marketplace OpenSea revealed raising $300 M in the Series C investment round. Currently, the company's market value stands at above $13.3 bln.

Investment companies Paradigm and Coatue led the round. In the published blog post, OpenSea says there were also new and exciting investors among the participants.

The team mentioned four goals that it aims to achieve with the raised funds; boosting product development, improving customer experience, investing in the broader NFT and Web 3 community, and expanding the team.
In its Series B funding, led by VC Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), OpenSea received $100 M from. The NFT marketplace was founded in 2017. Today it's the largest by trading volume. According to data from DappRadar, the total trading volume on OpenSea has surged above $14.6 bln. In 2021, the volume of transactions on the platform increased more than 600 times.
