The OpenSea marketplace has integrated support for Solana NFTs released on the blockchain in beta mode with “limited collection coverage.”

At the end of March, the team promised to start the process with Nyan Heroes and Turtles.

Currently, OpenSea supports 865,000 tokens from 165 NFT collections. Among them are Solana Monkey Business, DeGods, Degenerate Ape Academy, Aurory, and Shadowy Super Coder.

Solana's low fees and high transaction speed have lowered the threshold for accessing NFTs, according to the marketplace page.

Unlike competitors Magic Eden and FTX NFT, OpenSea allows users to store tokens in their wallets.

“You don't have to choose between liquidity and control. When you deposit NFTs, they stay in your wallet until they are sold,” the OpenSea website says.

Amid the milestone event, the Solana network ran into technical problems. They were confirmed by the founder of the project Anatoly Yakovenko. In January, the failure was observed for 48 hours.
