Crypto ATM locations map Coin ATM Radar's insights show that 10.000 new Bitcoin ATMs have been placed since March 1, 2020, on a global scale.

Presently, there are 16.835 automated tellers overall.

The main part of them, 13.699 machines are placed in the USA. Since March 1, 2020, the number of machines in the country has raised by 177%. Next comes Canada, to which belongs 7.5% of machines worldwide.

Coin ATM Radar's insights show that 34.6 new ATMs are being placed a day. Mostly these are the buy-only type (around 77.6%). 22.4% of ATMs offer both buy and sell services. Bitcoin ATMs allow people to trade Bitcoin by using cash or debit card. The very first of them called Robocoin was opened in the Waves coffee shop in downtown Vancouver, Canada. However, the machine shut down operations in 2015.
