Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken is in talks to attract investments from Fidelity, Tribe Capital, and General Atlantic at an estimate of $ 10 billion.
According to Bloomberg, the terms of the possible deal are not final and in case of high demand, the exchange may receive an estimate of more than $ 20 billion.
Representatives for Kraken, Tribe Capital, General Atlantic, and Fidelity declined to comment.

In 2019, the exchange raised $ 13 million with an estimate of $ 4 billion.
Kraken is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the United States in terms of spot trading volume. Kraken is also among the top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges in terms of trading volume in the Bitcoin futures market.
On Thursday, Coinbase, a competitor to Kraken, filed a public application with the SEC to register the offer of shares, which is the main document in preparation for the direct listing of the crypto exchange on the Nasdaq under the ticker COIN.
