At the beginning of this week, the local TV channel reported that a project would be launched under the auspices of the government of Kazakhstan, within which banks would have the right to open accounts for crypto companies.
The Association of the Blockchain and Data Center Industry has already confirmed the information received from the media. The project is designed for one year and starts in test mode on the basis of the Astana International Financial Center.

However, journalists have not yet been able to find out which Kazakh banks will receive the right to work with digital currencies.
Note that the Central Bank of Kazakhstan is preparing to start testing the national digital currency (CBDC).
In May, the head of the Central Bank, Yerbolat Dossaev, said that by the end of 2021, the regulator expects to start testing the token secured by the national currency tenge. Currently, the authorities, together with experts, are analyzing the consequences of the introduction of an innovative tool.
