As many experts expected, investors in the TON crypto project initiated a lawsuit against Pavel Durov’s team.
Oleg Zhelezko, representing the investment fund Da Vinci Capital, told RBC that the claim will be considered by a London court.
The fund manager emphasized that the plaintiffs consider Telegram’s proposal to return the funds invested in the creation of the TON blockchain network incorrect.
Many investors simply could not study the documentation in time and get the necessary answer to the question of how the respondent will return funds to the persons who financed the project.

Zhelezko also noted that investors were misled after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) banned Telegram from issuing its token. They were informed that the digital currency Gram would all be launched early, then they announced that the launch was postponed, and then again promised the appearance of the token.
In this situation, investors simply could not make the right decision whether to leave the crypto project or stay in it.
Recall that back in 2018, Pavel Durov’s team announced the creation of a blockchain and a Gram token. To implement their plans, the developers of the Telegram messenger raised $ 1.7 billion.

The project was officially closed last year. After that, experts warned Durov that his company would start having problems with investors.
