At the end of October, Indian media reported on the plans of the country's authorities to decide on the legalization of the cryptosphere. The Ministry of Finance will prepare the corresponding bill by February next year.
On the coming Monday, negotiations will take place between representatives of the crypto business and government officials. The meeting will take place at the initiative of the parliamentary finance committee.
India will host the first official meeting of the crypto community with the authorities that have been oppressing participants in the digital asset market over the past three years.

The journalists found out that among the invitees there are representatives of the WazirX, CoinSwitch Kuber, and CoinDCX crypto exchanges. WazirX is part of Binance, and the company has already confirmed that negotiations will indeed begin next week. Representatives of other trading platforms have not yet commented on the information received.
Note that in parallel, the Indian authorities are developing a national digital currency. The Reserve Bank will act as its issuer. The digital version of the Indian rupee will be integrated into the financial sector of the state.
