Google Search Volume of "NFT" Beat a New All-Time High

Interest around NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) has been rising. This fact has its reflection on Google Search volumes. The indicator hit a new all-time high seeing 25x growth since January 2021.

The number of users of NFT networks surged to a record high of 398,800 in terms of a week since March 8.

As for trading volume, it's been volatile. This indicator set a new record at the end of February when it surged above $196.35 M. The most part came from NBA Top Shot ($125 M). Next comes NFT marketplace CryptoPunks ( $62.67 M). Blockchain game CryptoKitties volume has surged by 2300% in the first weeks of March 2021.

The NFT sector has seen a considerable activity increase. Individuals and enterprises from different fields began launching their NFTs.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk also joined the trend. He posted a techno song about NFTs on his Twitter account. Musk wrote that he sells the track as an NFT.

Non-fungible tokens are blockchain-powered unique assets that don't have any equivalent. They can be gifs, images, songs, and more.
