In the summer of 2018, Google banned the publication of advertising content dedicated to investments in digital currencies. It motivated the decision by the fact that many fraudulent projects related to the cryptosphere appeared on the Internet.
However, in June of this year, the IT giant announced the lifting of such a ban for users of the American segment of the World Wide Web. Exchanges and startups that provide cryptocurrency trading and storage services will be able to post advertising information from August 3.
The ban will only be lifted for those crypto companies that meet the requirements set by Google. At the same time, the corporation itself does not count on a huge income from the placement of such content.

The giant will analyze the information published by blockchain startups. If a dubious enterprise wants to place itself on Google resources, the giant will refuse such advertisers. They must be registered with FinCEN (Financial Crime Network).
Google still refuses to advertise for ICOs and DeFi projects.
If sports or show business stars want to launch their token, the corporation will not permit them to publish promotional content.
