The founder of the well-known NFT project NeoNexus, Jack Shea, announced the termination of a startup operating based on the Solana blockchain. The man stated this on his official Twitter account, noting that the main reason for such a sharp decision was the sudden drop in prices for the SOL digital asset.

From the words of the main developer, we can conclude that he no longer intends to invest either effort or money in the development of this NFT startup. In this context, it is worth noting that despite such a strong position, several new NFT collections will still be released.

“We previously announced the release of new non-fungible tokens. We promised. We will do it, but for the last time, ”Shi emphasized in his address to users.

As of today, it is known that the NeoNexus metaverse project has been able to collect about 25,000 SOLs in various "NFT yards" over the entire period of its existence. This, analysts say, based on the unstable rate of the coin, is approximately from $2 million to $4 million.

Regarding the profit of the project, a real dilemma flared up between the experts, to this day they continue to share assumptions about how much NeoNexus managed to earn.

“The net income received by the project for its existence depends on at what point they sold the SOL coins, and whether they were sold at all. So, for example, at the time of writing, based on the value of the coin, NeoNexus’s profit could be approximately $2.5 million. We should not forget about the period when the SOL digital asset rose in price to $150. By exchanging their crypto-accumulations for dollars in those very “happy minutes”, NeoNexus could have received a “revenue” of $4 million,” one of the experts said in an analytical article.

Finally, it is worth adding that among the latest NFT collections that NeoNexus is going to release, non-fungible tokens in the form of movie characters, vehicles, and various accessories will be presented.
