Former US President Donald Trump’s crypto views haven’t changed. Lately, he once again criticized the sphere, saying it is very dangerous.

He stated his opinion at the interview with financial journalist Maria Bartiromo on FOXBusiness.
To Bartiromo’s question, what Trump thinks about crypto assets and that NY and Miami have included them in their financial systems, the politician answered he sees dangers coming from crypto and that he believes one day a crisis bigger than any preceding ones will start.
According to Trump, compared to the possible course of events he predicts, the big technology explosion will seem small. He added he never loved crypto as he prefers the dollar. In his opinion, the currency must be the USD. The politician said crypto is getting larger, and nobody acts upon it. Trump has criticized crypto several times previously, saying he didn't trust crypto assets.
The 45th president also spoke about his upcoming social media platform Truth Social, supposed to launch in early 2022 and Melania Trump's NFT initiative.
Talking about the NFT project, Trump said he believes she’ll do great. He mentioned that Melania Trump’s got a great imagination and that people do love her.
Earlier, on December 16, Melania Trump presentedher first NFT “Melania’s vision”. Moreover, she released a platform MelaniaTrump.com, where new NFTs will be introduced in regular terms.
The crypto sector continues to grow, with an increasing number of investments and adoption. Miami and New York have launched their city coins and aim to become crypto hubs. Along with this, US regulators are more focused on establishing a legal framework.
