Valkyrie to run Bitcoin ETF

On March 12, Valkyrie Digital Assets submitted a paper with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for running an exchange-traded fund (ETF). Note that ETFs work like shares in businesses.

As reported, the fund plans to invest in firms of all sizes, including non-US firms. Besides common stocks, other securities are considered too. This suggests investing in entities which balance sheets include Bitcoin.

Valkyrie Digital Assets is a daughter company of Dallas-based Valkyrie Investments. It offers easy and secure investing solutions, creating and managing portfolios and products.

Interest in Bitcoin investments continues. Lately, Microstrategy, a major supporter of the leading asset posted about adding another $15 M in bitcoin to its treasury holdings. It was already the third time this month that the company purchased BTC. Currently, the business analytics firm owns 91.326 BTC in total.

Another significant indicator is that Bitcoin market capitalization stands above $1 trillion.
