The largest altcoin, Ethereum fell by over 5% over the last day. It trades at about $3.700. Generally, financial markets face difficulties caused by the Omicron virus.

However, despite the current crash, Bitcoin's price grew twice compared to December 2020. A survey by Grayscale showed that over 55% of crypto investors made their first purchase this year. At the same time, more banks are offering crypto services.
