On June 1, CNN celebrated its 41st anniversary. Later this month the company is launching an NFT collection with the name “Vault by CNN”. The collectibles will present decisive events from the network's history.

According to the press release, the primary launch will consist of six drops of Moments per week. It's not known yet which events will be introduced first. They may be CNN exclusives, elections, or other major moments. In the announcement, CNN noted that the NFTs allow an alternative way to own digital content. The company is going to introduce both limited-edition and open-edition NFTs.

The monetization will be carried out by a third party vendor Stripe, which allows easy payment methods via credit cards.

To make transactions users will need to use a digital wallet Blocto.
