While most cryptocurrencies have been seeing major declines through the week, some of the BTC exchange-traded funds of Canada face problems.

The news came from Financial Times which announced that two funds run by Horizons ETFs issued a market disruption warning for investors. That is a situation where markets stop functioning in a regular way because of fast and major declines.The Horizon funds announced they won't be able to carry out trading activities if the futures rate stays as low as its lower limit at the close of trading.
Horizon’s ETFs, BetaPro Bitcoin ETF (“HBIT”) and the BetaPro Inverse Bitcoin ETF (“BITI”) invest in BTC futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, which sees a trading halt resulted from the sell-off.
