The London Police Service announced another largest seizure of digital currencies with a total value of about £ 180 million ($ 250 million).
The operation was carried out by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, based on information on the movement of criminal assets. The confiscation was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into an international money laundering scheme.
On June 24, police detained and interrogated a 39-year-old suspect in the case. She was later released on bail.
