Police raids took place in more than 70 thousand households, as well as in factories, retail outlets, and communities. In one of the villages, 1906 bitcoin miners were connected to a private transformer.

As a rule, the police receive tips from power plants that notice consumption violations at their sites. To prevent theft of electricity, such raids will be carried out more often.

The further fate of the confiscated ASIC miners is not reported.

Note that despite the negative attitude of the PRC authorities to crypto, mining in the country is not prohibited.
