The youngest crypto billionaire, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin issued a paper with the title "The Limits to Blockchain Scalability". There he wrote about Elon Musk's announcement that Dogecoin can speed up its block time 10X, boost block size 10X and reduce fee 100X.

Vitalik Buterin noted that there are essential and definite technical points that restrict blockchain scaling as with sharding and without it. Buterin said although there are solutions, they come with their restrictions too.
The issued post covered many points. Vitalik Buterin pointed out 3 main limitations to a full node's ability to carry out lots of transactions. They are computational power, maximum data transfer rate, and storage. At the same time, to ensure decentralization ordinary users must be able to manage a node.
So, Vitalik Buterin states that Musk's idea of upgrade the system is fundamentally flawed.
As an answer Musk said "He fears the Doge" attaching a photo.
