Near Protocol, the Universal Hip Hop Museum and illustrator André LeRoy Davis partnered for the initiative. The NFTs are in form of Hip-Hop head illustrations. They are included in the collection named “A Love Letter to Hip Hop” which represents 47 years of the genre and 47 artists. Among them are Fat Boys, Eve, Drake, Eazy-E, Tupac, and Jay Z.
Some amount generated during the sales will be donated to the Universal Hip Hop Museum to help build an original crypto art collection.
As stated on the website, The Museum's co-founder Edward Young and André LeRoy Davis are making donations to show that NFTs have unique power and potential to support creatives and their estates in ways never before possible.
NFTs will be auctioned daily until July 24.
