As of March 11, the number of addresses with a balance of 1 BTC or more reached 795,630. A day earlier, there were 795,300 such addresses on the network. Thus, market players continue to consider bitcoin as a promising investment.
Along with this, Skew experts set an absolute record in terms of trading in bitcoin options about $200 million. The main share fell on the Deribit exchange ($170 million).
In January, Glassnode estimated that the number of bitcoin addresses with a non-zero balance is 28.4 million, their owners are approximately 23.1 million entities.
In addition, it turned out that as of January 2020, 72% of existing bitcoins were profitable, and more than half of the coins in circulation remained almost always profitable.
