The analytical center Avenir Suisse released the report named “Blockchain after the hype”, in which "summoned" the National Bank of Switzerland to begin its works on creation of a national cryptocoin.
In particular, analysts suggest developing a model of blockchain based economy. The next level action, according to the authors of the analytical material, should be the development of a “frank-token”. The creation of such a system can turn the country into a “blockchain-nation” and become a way to modernize the Swiss financial sector by providing trading opportunities for crypto active assets, as analysts report.

At the same time, the authors of the report emphasize the need for changes in legislation for the full development of the system, which will be based on stablebcoin.
In essence, the law should have some changes only in those spheres, in which it is not yet compatible with DLT technologies, as analysts at Avenir Suisse say.
You can also recall, that the government began to think about the possibility of creating a national digital currency already last year, and in the winter, the Swiss Finance Minister said that in order to regulate new technologies, the authorities intend to modify the current legislation. It is worth noting, that Switzerland is considered as a very friendly to cryptocurrency country among European other countries.
