The restriction of withdrawals was notified by the Zipmex cryptocurrency exchange in Thailand last week.

Local regulators then made the trading platform's problems public and began interacting with the customers who had been harmed by the outage.

Information on the impacted traders is being gathered by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand. The day before, the regulator's press office said that Zipmex customers may file an appeal or other information regarding the issues with the cryptocurrency exchange on the SEC's official website.

At the end of June, the platform put a temporary stop to withdrawals. The regulator has started to compile investor applications and is developing a plan to protect users of the exchange who may be harmed.

Zipmex is one of the most well-known cryptocurrency exchanges in Thailand that is governed by the government.

After the cash withdrawal was suspended for two days, the trading platform partially resumed transaction processing. However, it is still not functioning correctly.
