SkyBridge Capital, founded by Anthony Scaramucci, is one of the largest BTC investors.

Scaramucci himself periodically points out the advantages of digital currency over other instruments. However, it is too early to talk about institutional adoption of bitcoin, the businessman mentioned.

According to him, most financial institutions either refuse to buy digital currencies altogether or are extremely reluctant to invest in them. The blockchain industry has yet to become an attractive destination for institutions.

Scaramucci stressed that at the moment only 10% of the funds invested in the crypto sphere belong to funds and asset management companies.

SkyBridge Capital founder said: "There are no institutions there. Anyone who tells you that institutional acceptance is taking place in cryptosphere is not entirely honest with you, or he sees something that I do not see."

Sooner or later, we will see how big banks start buying up companies representing the cryptocurrency industry. For example, the Coinbase exchange or a blockchain startup will be bought, through which financial institutions will influence the digital asset market, says Anthony Scaramucci.
