Samsung to Present TV Lineup With NFT Support

Leading technology company Samsung plans to introduce new TV models that support NFTs in 2022.

In a press release published on January 3, the company says that the 2022 Smart TV line comes with a Smart Hub, that integrates content according to viewing preferences.

NFT platform is among other applications. As mentioned, it will feature an intuitive platform for exploring, buying, and trading digital works via MICRO LED, Neo QLED, and The Frame TVs.

Earlier, Samsung announced a partnership with a major metaverse platform Zepeto. Due to the partnership, users will be able to decorate their own homes in the metaverse.

Metaverse and NFTs are among the hottest tech trends, and they are considered to be the future of the internet. Metaverse is the virtual space where users interact with each other. NFTs play a central role in metaverse as operating on the blockchain they secure ownership rights. NFTs can be used to allow someone to enter a certain place in a virtual environment or not. Other use cases can be in the form of NFT rewards and giving value to objects.
