Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck has announced plans to support the Qtum coin (QTUM). It will become the twelfth digital currency available on the platform.

Users will be able to buy, sell, send, and receive Qtum. Besides, Qtum will be included in the Coincheck loan service. Within its framework, exchange customers provide her with their cryptocurrency assets at interest.

However, the exact date of adding support for coins in Coincheck was not named.
Qtum was developed in December 2016. It is argued that cryptocurrency combines the advantages of Bitcoin and Ethereum. The Qtum blockchain supports smart contracts and serves as a platform for decentralized applications and payments.
