American popular magazine Playboy introduced an NFT collection on the digital art platform SuperRare on July 9.

There are featured artworks by Ayla El-Moussa, REK0DE, Jon Noorlander, MBSJQ, as well as the iconic photo of a 1970 Playboy Bunny on water skis.To present the art, Playboy worked with Ethereum-powered virtual reality network Decentraland. The Miami Collection will be released in terms of Decentraland’s 2nd yearly Art Week started on July 8.
Playboy released its first NFT "Liquid Summer" on May 4. It partnered with Decentraland’s Crypto Valley and introduced the collection on the Nifty Gateway.The use cases of non-fungible cases have been expanding. Recently, the NFT introducing the original code for the WWW, built by English programmer Tim Berners-Lee in 1989, was sold for $5.4 M.
As shows data from NonFungible.com, in the first half of 2021, the total amount of NFT sales is approximately 2.5 B. So, the interest in blockchain-powered non-fungible tokens remains high.
