Thus, MicroStrategy's total BTC holdings reached 114.042 coins as of September 12, 2021. In total, the company put around $3.16 B in BTC purchases, acquiring each coin for about $27.713.
The previous purchase the company made was on August 24. Then it acquired 3,907 bitcoins for about $177 M. Besides, MicroStrategy plans to sell $1 B of its stocks.
The company first invested in BTC on August 11, 2020. Since then, it has turned from a software firm into a BTC investment vehicle.
