Intel recently officially announced its intention to contribute to the development of distributed ledger technology by presenting its development in the form of an accelerator for mining devices. Raja Koduri, vice president of the Computing and Graphics Department, announced this.
In his statement, an Intel spokesman focused the attention of users on the fact that accelerator devices for mining digital assets will be released by the end of this year. More detailed information about partners and the specifics of the accelerator program will be presented by Intel at the end of this month as part of the International Conference on Solid-State Circuits.
Kaduri, being the main manager of the above project, managed to add fuel to the fire, noting that the introduction of their development into the functionality of one or another blockchain platform will speed up the mining of digital assets by 1000 times. This statement, of course, could not fail to attract the attention of the media and the interest of large crypto-entrepreneurs, because if Kaduri turns out to be right, then a real revolution will soon await the mining industry.

Among other things, the man managed to add that Argo Blockchain, BLOCK (formerly known as Square), and GRIID Infrastructure will become Intel partner companies, which will be the first to be allowed to try out the mining accelerator.
