75-years-old McAfee has been imprisoned in Spain since October 2020. He was accused of several illegal activities: tax evasion, crypto scams, and "pump and dump" arrangement.

According to the Justice Department’s Tax Division and Tennessee prosecutors, McAfee may get at least 5 years of each count of tax avoidance and at least one year on each count of failure to file a tax return.

Presently, the US is seeking McAfee's extradition. During the next few days, a Spanish judge will announce the decision.

At a hearing in Spain's National Court McAfee joined from prison through a video link.
