Support for payment in digital currency will become affordable for more than a million companies in more than 175 countries of the world. The partnership between Shopify and CoinPayments will allow companies to accept payments in 1800 crypto coins with available commissions, the press release said.
The partnership was preceded by the successful completion of the pilot program, which included testing the functionality and security of the platform with real transactions.
Collaboration between both organizations will help Shopify customers to eliminate the need for work with several process services in various jurisdictions around the world. Previously, crypto payments were available in partnership with Coinbase Commerce, BitPay, and GoCoin.
