Product Lead Timothy Stebbing and Principal Engineer Michi Lumin described how "RadioDoge" will run and how it will enable offline DOGE transfers.
According to the release, Radiodoge is considered to use cheap and reliable radio tech and the global Starlink satellite network operated by SpaceX. The vision is that Radiodoge will allow cheaply deployable, broad access to DOGE for people that are out of the traditional internet reach.
The Dogecoin Foundation team mentioned that there is a long way to go, but the steps towards making DOGE an unconstrained financial means are exciting.
During the previous months, the Dogecoin team has been focusing on building the ground for future Dogecoin projects. The first stage includes building a programming library called Libdogecoin.
