According to a report by the research solutions company Crunchbase, crypto financing fell in the first half of 2022. In that period, crypto companies generated about $9.3 bln in venture capital compared to the $12.5 bln of the last year.

Meanwhile, the number of deal flow reached 534 from 456 in the past year. Crunchbase mentioned that there are some positive indicators in numbers.
Numbers of the second quarter held strong with over $4.2 bln raised by venture-backed crypto-related startups. It is around $1 bln less than the last quarter and much less from the all-time high of $6.1 bln reached in Q4, 2022. However, the quarter showed almost the same results as the same quarter of 2021.
The report mentions that venture declined in every field. Numbers significantly differ from last year's record-breaking investments.
