ATOM price has grown despite the retreat of the crypto market. One of the key reasons for the rise is the nearing launch of Evmos, which is an Ethereum-compatible chain. In the blog post published by Cosmos at the end of 2021, the team said that the launch of Evmos is planned to take place this month. In November, Cosmos announced the launch of the testnet.

Another major development for Cosmos is the Theta upgrade scheduled for the first quarter this year. Among the new possibilities that Theta will bring are interchain accounts, NFT modules, and Liquid staking.

Cosmos-based projects also see high interest.
