Coinbase, a successful US crypto exchange, has declared the enlargement of its Coinbase Custody service. So, the Irish branch of it is going to work for European users.
The service already serves customers from the UK, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands. However, with the launch of Coinbase Custody International, the company wants to meet the requirements of regional customers better.
“Since we are going to be settled in the same region as our customers, we plan to meet the requirements of regulators and customer expectations better,” the Coinbase statement said.

Thanks to the launch of the European division, the company also plans to implement support for new cryptocurrencies to its platform. Besides, Coinbase's entire steak services will be transferred to the new division.
Recall that the launch of the Coinbase Custody took place in early 2018. It grew quite rapidly, and a year later, it stored client funds worth more than $ 1 billion, and after the takeover of the Xapo service, the volume of kept cryptos increased to $ 7 billion.
