The financing of the business focused on the blockchain industry from September 2021 to June 2022 amounted to about $6 billion. The 40 largest corporations invested mainly in this sector, according to a study by Blockdata.
At the same time, it is impossible to determine the scale of funding, since the technology giants preferred to invest in decentralized development during several rounds. For example, Samsung Corporation, which turned out to be the most active, funded the work of 13 blockchain startups.
The giant Alphabet, which owns Google, has invested $1.5 billion in several enterprises that create blockchain services at once. BlackRock and Morgan Stanley have invested $1.2 billion and $1.1 billion in the industry, respectively.
