During the trial, Ripple asked for docs where William Hinman, former SEC executive, expressed his views on cryptos and securities. According to Ripple, the information plays a vital role in the case.
Now that Ripple has official access to it, the company's legal representative Stuart Alderoty tweeted that the battle having taken more than a year and a half, was worth fighting to win. Alderoty mentioned that the subject is internal messages from Hinman's 2018 speech.
Over 18 months and 6 court orders later, we finally have the Hinman docs (internal SEC emails and drafts of his infamous 2018 speech). While they remain confidential for now (at the SEC’s insistence), I can say that it was well worth the fight to get them.

Despite the SEC's objections, last month the Judge announced the decision that the financial watchdog should turn over the docs.
Ripple Chief Executive Officer Brad Garlinghouse tweeted although the SEC wants people to think its aim is disclosure, the truth will show their shameful behavior and shock people.
