Since its founding in 2011, global cryptocurrency processing BitPay has processed payments totaling more than $2.8 billion. Only last year, customers of the service made transactions worth more than $1 billion. The revenue of the B2B direction of the service increased by 225 compared to 2017 due to interest in bitcoin from IT vendors and law firms.
Recall that some time ago, BitPay blocked the transfer of $100,000, designed to save the Amazon rainforest from fires. According to Amazon Watch, the payment was declined on the pretext that it was too large.
