The legalization of bitcoin in El Salvador has become a landmark event for both the crypto industry and the global economy.
In some countries, local politicians have said that they should follow the same path and recognize BTC as a means of payment. They were joined by Senator Wendy Rogers of Arizona.
She introduced a bill to legalize bitcoin in her region. The document says that Americans living in Arizona will be able to pay debts, taxes, and other fees in cryptocurrency.

However, experts doubt that the senator will be able to pass this document through the legislature since the US Constitution does not allow states to create their means of payment.
The bill must come through the House of Representatives and the State Senate, and only after that, the head of government will sign it.
