AlphaPoint raised $5.6 million in an added round of funding

AlphaPoint collected $5.6 million in an extra round of funding. Investments are planned to go towards the development of new trading functions for cryptocurrency exchanges.

AlphaPoint provides white-label trading software used by more than 150 customers from all over the world. The company added support of security token a year ago.

The funds received in the second round of financing will be used to improve margin trading, increase liquidity, and expand broker opportunities.

AlphaPoint co-founder and CEO Igor Telyatnikov noted that the development of new trading functions would enable the company to “continue to fulfill its mission of providing access to digital assets around the world.”

AlphaPoint raised $15 million in the first main round of funding in June 2018 with the support of Galaxy Digital, a cryptocurrency trading bank. That summer, the company launched a trading platform with the support currency Ripple.
