Blockchain investigation firm Chainalysis attracted $170 M in the recent investment round. Thus, the company's valuation hit $8.6 bln.

A report by The Information says that the company raised the amount in Series F led by Singapore-based investment management company GIC.
In June 2021, Chainalysis secured $100 M in Series A financing. That brought the company's valuation to $4.2 bln. Prior to that, it also secured $100 M in a Series D round in March 2021. In 2020, the company opened offices in Singapore and Tokyo to expand its presence in The Asia-Pacific region. Currently, Chainalysis provides services in more than 70 countries.
Previously, the company revealed the release of sanctions monitoring tools, API and an on-chain oracle related to the economic sanctions against Russia. The solutions will allow developers of decentralized protocols to easily find out that they are interacting with crypto addresses related to sanctioned organizations.
